Usage: AMPPD is a chemiluminescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase. In a suitable buffer solution, AMPPD decomposes into AMP-D through enzymatic hydrolysis, which emits a high-intensity light signal. The rate of luminescence depends on the concentration of alkaline phosphatase. When alkaline phosphatase is coupled to the hybridized probe, the presence of hybridized molecules can be detected through this system.
